The UPC at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2021
Once again, the Universitat PolitĂšcnica de Catalunya (UPC), through CIT UPC, will be at the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), which will take place in Barcelona at the Fira de Barcelona, Recinte Gran Via, between 16 and 18 November.
On 1 and 2 December, the second meeting of the 4th edition of the Open Innovation Forum 2021 will take place. This programme brings companies with technology challenges into contact with research groups in the BioRegion to provide solutions.

Three CREB projects at the UPC have won awards in La Caixa Foundationâs CaixaResearch Validate 2021 call. These are the Virtual Perfusionist, MV-Optimizer and the spin-off Vincer.AI, to certify artificial intelligence systems.
The new edition of the QS Graduate Employability Rankings highlights the results of UPC in two of the indicators that were analysed: collaborations between the university and the business world (employers), in which it is ranked twelfth in the world; and the graduate employment rate, in which it is number 17 in the world. In the general classification, the university is among the 130 top universities in employability of its students.
