Estudis recents mostren una reducci\u00f3 de la incid\u00e8ncia de les infeccions respirat\u00f2ries quan la ventilaci\u00f3 permet mantenir la concentraci\u00f3 de di\u00f2xid de carboni per sota dels 1000 ppm. Una ventilaci\u00f3 adequada tamb\u00e9 garanteix el benestar del professorat i dels estudiants i millorar les seves habilitats cognitives.\r<br>A Espanya, les escoles constru\u00efdes abans del 2007 (l\\&#8217;\u00e0mplia majoria) solen estar situades en edificis que no disposen de ventilaci\u00f3 mec\u00e0nica. D\u2019aquesta manera, la qualitat de l\\&#8217;aire interior dep\u00e8n de la percepci\u00f3 personal dels ocupants i de les mesures que ells puguin prendre en conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia. La soluci\u00f3 m\u00e9s pr\u00e0ctica i efectiva \u00e9s, en aquest cas, la ventilaci\u00f3 natural. No obstant aix\u00f2, i especialment durant les estacions m\u00e9s fredes, els ocupants poden deixar d\\&#8217;obrir les finestres a causa de la falta de confort t\u00e8rmic i, en conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, la qualitat de l\\&#8217;aire interior pot veure\\&#8217;s compromesa. Per contra, el consum d\\&#8217;energia augmenta per mitigar la falta de confort t\u00e8rmic.<br>Main Text<br>no-repeat;left top;;<br>auto<br><br>En aquest context, neix el projecte \u2018<a target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/iaq4edu.upc.edu\/ca\/\">Estrat\u00e8gies de ventilaci\u00f3 optimizades per equilibrar la qualitat de l\u2019aire interior, el confort t\u00e8rmic i el consum d\u2019energia en edificis educatius<\/a>\u2019 (IAQ4EDU per les sigles en angl\u00e8s Optimal ventilation strategies for balancing Indoor Air Quality, comfort and energy use in EDUcational Buildings), liderat per investigadors del Grup de Recerca i Innovaci\u00f3 de la Construcci\u00f3 (GRIC) de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya &#8211; BarcelonaTech (UPC), i que t\u00e9 com a objectiu optimitzar les estrat\u00e8gies de ventilaci\u00f3 en els centres educatius tenint en compte la qualitat de l\\&#8217;aire interior, el benestar t\u00e8rmic, el consum d\\&#8217;energia i els costos globals.\u00a0<br>Main Text<br>no-repeat;left top;;<br>auto<br><br>Les estrat\u00e8gies d\u2019optimitzaci\u00f3 que s\u2019inclouen en el projecte s\u00f3n:\u00a0\r<br>\r<br>La ventilaci\u00f3 exclusivament natural mitjan\u00e7ant l\\&#8217;obertura de finestres i portes.\r<br>Sistemes de ventilaci\u00f3 mec\u00e0nica de baix cost (\u00e9s a dir, ventiladors d\\&#8217;extracci\u00f3 instal\u00b7lats en la fa\u00e7ana).\r<br>La implantaci\u00f3 de sistemes mec\u00e0nics a cabal constant o mitjan\u00e7ant taxes de ventilaci\u00f3 controlades per la demanda.\r<br>Enfocaments d\\&#8217;implantaci\u00f3 h\u00edbrids.\r<br><br>Main Text<br>no-repeat;left top;;<br>auto<br><br>El projecte caracteritzar\u00e0, en primer lloc, la qualitat de l\\&#8217;aire interior en edificis educatius espanyols, incloent-hi col\u00b7legis de prim\u00e0ria, instituts de secund\u00e0ria i universitats, mitjan\u00e7ant una campanya experimental de mesurament de par\u00e0metres ambientals interiors (principalment els nivells de concentraci\u00f3 de CO\u2082 i la temperatura) en 40 aules situades en 20 edificis educatius sota tres maneres d\u2019acondicionament diferents (calefacci\u00f3, refrigeraci\u00f3 i el mode sense calefacci\u00f3 ni refrigeraci\u00f3). Les possibles estrat\u00e8gies de ventilaci\u00f3 i el seu corresponent rendiment t\u00e8rmic, aix\u00ed com el consum d\\&#8217;energia, seran modelitzades mitjan\u00e7ant models d\\&#8217;ordre redu\u00eft. El projecte tamb\u00e9 explorar\u00e0 el potencial de flexibilitat dels sistemes de ventilaci\u00f3 dels edificis, \u00e9s a dir, la capacitat de canviar la demanda energ\u00e8tica de l\\&#8217;edifici mantenint els nivells de confort i seguretat requerits.\r<br>Finalment, es desenvolupar\u00e0 un m\u00e8tode de presa de decisions amb criteris m\u00faltiples per a prendre decisions informades, rendibles i orientades a la seguretat, racionalitzant les inversions tant a curt com a llarg termini sobre com, quan i on dur a terme plans de manteniment o millora de les instal\u00b7lacions educatives pel que fa a les seves capacitats de ventilaci\u00f3.\u00a0<br>Main Text<br>no-repeat;left top;;<br>auto<br><br>Resultats i impacte\r<br>Els resultats obtinguts ajudaran a identificar les taxes exactes de ventilaci\u00f3 per a prevenir les infeccions causades per aerosols, mantenint al mateix temps els nivells adequats de confort t\u00e8rmic i l\\&#8217;efici\u00e8ncia energ\u00e8tica en contextos educatius. Aix\u00f2 es traduir\u00e0 en l\u2019elaboraci\u00f3 de la primera guia operativa per a la correcta ventilaci\u00f3 dels centres educatius a Catalunya que ajudar\u00e0 els usuaris de la comunitat educativa a adoptar l\\&#8217;estrat\u00e8gia de ventilaci\u00f3 natural \u00f2ptima per a garantir una qualitat de l\\&#8217;aire interior adequada, millorar el confort t\u00e8rmic i augmentar l\\&#8217;estalvi energ\u00e8tic.\r<br>A m\u00e9s, IAQ4EDU proporcionar\u00e0 un model integrat de suport a la presa de decisions per a la prioritzaci\u00f3 de les inversions en HVAC (calefacci\u00f3, ventilaci\u00f3 i aire condicionat en angl\u00e8s, heating, ventilating, air conditioned) en edificis educatius.<br>Main Text<br>no-repeat;left top;;<br>auto<br><br>Consorci, pressupost i finan\u00e7ament\r<br>En el consorci d\u2019IAQ4EDU participen, a m\u00e9s, la Universit\u00e0 Politecnica delle Marche (It\u00e0lia), l\u2019Institut de Salut P\u00fablica de la Universitat de Porto i l\\&#8217;Institut Nacional de Salut Dr. Ricardo Jorge (Portugal), la Universitat Tecnol\u00f2gica de Delft (Holanda) i l\\&#8217;Oficina de Medi Ambient Urb\u00e0 de l\\&#8217;Ajuntament de Sabadell. El projecte es desenvolupa durant un per\u00edode de tres anys (setembre de 2021 &#8211; agost de 2024) i est\u00e0 finan\u00e7at amb un pressupost de 132,011 \u20ac pel Ministeri de Ci\u00e8ncia i
