El Centre de Desenvolupament de Sensors i Sistemes (CD6) de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya &#8211; BarcelonaTech (UPC) ha desenvolupat tecnologies per a aquest tipus de vehicles, que milloren la seguretat en els despla\u00e7aments. En aquest sentit, i per cobrir les necessitats de percepci\u00f3 de l\u2019entorn a llarg abast, es requereix el desenvolupament d\u2019un conjunt molt complet de sensors, entre els quals s\u2019inclouen c\u00e0meres, LIDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) i radar.\u00a0\r<br>Si b\u00e9 la soluci\u00f3 pel que fa al hardware \u00e9s coneguda (requereix combinar diferents sensors com c\u00e0meres de diferents tipus, per compensar els diferents modes de fallada de cadascun), cal encara molta feina per millorar pel que fa a la percepci\u00f3 que pot oferir el software. La manera en qu\u00e8 es fusionen les dades, o l\u2019exactitud amb qu\u00e8 es perceben vianants o amenaces a llargues dist\u00e0ncies, s\u00f3n encara camps de treball de gran recorregut fins a arribar a una soluci\u00f3 definitiva. Amb aquest projecte es milloraran els aspectes de percepci\u00f3 i fusi\u00f3 dels sensors d\u2019imatge, radar i n\u00favols de punts d\\&#8217;alta densitat, la qual cosa permetr\u00e0 millorar la percepci\u00f3 dels vehicles en entorns hostils, com la boira o el fum, i fins i tot la sorra o l\u2019smog. <br>Project Header<br>no-repeat;left top;;<br>auto<br>20px<br><br><br><h4>Resultats<\/h4>\r<br>En el marc del projecte, s\u2019ha desenvolupat una soluci\u00f3 software per a la detecci\u00f3 en medis dispersius, que integra c\u00e0mera, LIDAR i radar, a trav\u00e9s de la generaci\u00f3 de datasets i algorismes de deep learning. En concret, s\u2019han desenvolupat algorismes de fusi\u00f3 de sensors que permeten integrar el processament d\\&#8217;imatges a temps real de diferents sensors d\\&#8217;imatge, dades de radar i LIDAR respectivament. Aquest enfocament amb m\u00faltiples sensors cobreix els diferents modes de fallida dels sensors i, per tant, proporciona un entorn de treball s\u00f2lid en totes les condicions clim\u00e0tiques. El pas seg\u00fcent ser\u00e0 incorporar diferents tipus de c\u00e0meres (RGB, NIR, SWIR, t\u00e8rmiques) de manera que estiguin perfectament fusionades amb les dades LIDAR a totes les dist\u00e0ncies.\u00a0\r<br>Aquest enfocament permet realitzar deteccions molt m\u00e9s segures en algorismes de visi\u00f3 per computador basats en intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia artificial, eliminant falses alarmes. Aquesta tecnologia ha estat llicenciada i ha donat lloc a una spin-off, la qual l\u2019ha subllicenciat a un TIER1.\r<br>En el projecte ha col\u00b7laborat tamb\u00e9 l\u2019Intelligent Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Research Center (IDEAI) de la UPC, a trav\u00e9s del Grup de Processament d\u2019Imatge de la UPC.
