En aquest context, neix SUST(AI)N (pel seu nom en angl\u00e8s, Smart Building Sensitive to Daily Sentiment), un projecte en el qual participen investigadors del Grup d\\&#8217;Instrumentaci\u00f3, Sensors i Interf\u00edcies (ISI) i el Grup de Recerca Components i Sistemes per a les Comunicacions (CSC) de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya &#8211; BarcelonaTech (UPC).\r<br>SUST(AI)N permetr\u00e0 desenvolupar els fonaments te\u00f2rics i experimentals per combinar intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia artificial distribu\u00efda, una major precisi\u00f3 en la detecci\u00f3 ambiental de persones (localitzaci\u00f3 i seguiment, reconeixement gestual i dels signes vitals com la respiraci\u00f3 i el ritme card\u00edac), i una millora de la flexibilitat i efici\u00e8ncia en la implementaci\u00f3 del hardware reconfigurable, en el marc d\\&#8217;un edifici intel\u00b7ligent a mode d\\&#8217;un organisme conscient, que aconsegueix l\\&#8217;autoconsci\u00e8ncia mitjan\u00e7ant el raonament probabil\u00edstic, a trav\u00e9s de la integraci\u00f3 de les persones amb els diferents dispositius i sistemes sostenibles connectats.\r<br>El consorci del projecte simplificar\u00e0 el hardware i els sistemes dels edificis intel\u00b7ligents explotant conjuntament els senyals electromagn\u00e8tics per a la comunicaci\u00f3 per retrodispersi\u00f3, la captaci\u00f3 d\\&#8217;energia, la desc\u00e0rrega de computaci\u00f3 de la capa f\u00edsica i la detecci\u00f3 no intrusiva. S\\&#8217;utilitzaran superf\u00edcies intel\u00b7ligents reconfigurables per recolzar cadascuna d\\&#8217;aquestes funcions. Aquest nou sistema intel\u00b7ligent permetr\u00e0 que els edificis terciaris (destinats a la prestaci\u00f3 de serveis al p\u00fablic, empreses i organismes) compleixin amb el decret regulador 2010\/31\/UE del Parlament Europeu, que estipula la necessitat d\u2019establir sistemes de control de l\\&#8217;automatitzaci\u00f3 el 2025.\r<br>L\\&#8217;equip d\\&#8217;investigadors del grup ISI i el CSC de la UPC, s\\&#8217;encarregar\u00e0 de l\\&#8217;alimentaci\u00f3 dels nodes sensors a partir de la captaci\u00f3 de l\\&#8217;energia de l\\&#8217;entorn i, en concret, de tres fonts presents a l\\&#8217;interior dels edificis: l\u2019energia lum\u00ednica, la t\u00e8rmica i la de radiofreq\u00fc\u00e8ncia. L\\&#8217;energia lum\u00ednica provindr\u00e0 tant d\\&#8217;il\u00b7luminaci\u00f3 artificial (LED, fluorescents) com de llum natural (finestres, portes transl\u00facides). L\\&#8217;energia t\u00e8rmica es captar\u00e0 del sistema de calefacci\u00f3 i aire condicionat, concretament, de les canonades de distribuci\u00f3 d\\&#8217;aigua calenta\/freda. L\\&#8217;energia de radiofreq\u00fc\u00e8ncia s\\&#8217;obtindr\u00e0 d\u2019aquella present en l\\&#8217;entorn i tamb\u00e9 a partir de l\\&#8217;emesa pels emissors de r\u00e0dio ja utilitzats per a la comunicaci\u00f3 i el sensoritzaci\u00f3. A m\u00e9s, per als tres tipus de captadors es desenvoluparan sistemes electr\u00f2nics a fi de maximitzar la pot\u00e8ncia capturada.<br>Main Text<br>no-repeat;left top;;<br>auto<br><br><h4>Consorci, pressupost i finan\u00e7ament<\/h4><br>Project Header<br>no-repeat;left top;;<br>auto<br>20px<br><br>Liderat per la Universitat Aalto (Finl\u00e0ndia), SUST(AI)N reuneix un consorci format per la UPC (Espanya), l\\&#8217;Institut Minis-T\u00e9l\u00e9com (Fran\u00e7a), la Universitat de Trento (It\u00e0lia) i la Universitat T\u00e8cnica de Y\u0131ld\u0131z (Turquia). El projecte va comen\u00e7ar l\\&#8217;octubre de 2022 i finalitzar\u00e0 el mar\u00e7 de 2026.
