Aquest material incorpora subproductes de la ind\u00fastria sider\u00fargica i agroaliment\u00e0ria.<\/h4>\r<br>El SARTI treballa en un projecte, coordinat per l\\&#8217;empresa catalana <a target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/oceanecostructures.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ocean Ecostructures<\/a>, amb l\u2019objectiu de combatre la p\u00e8rdua de la biodiversitat marina. L\\&#8217;augment de l\\&#8217;activitat costanera, el tr\u00e0fic mar\u00edtim i l\\&#8217;abocament de residus a les aig\u00fces s\u00f3n les principals causes d\\&#8217;aquesta p\u00e8rdua de biodiversitat.El projecte SEASLAG se centra en la recerca i el desenvolupament d\\&#8217;un nou material sostenible per a la construcci\u00f3 d\\&#8217;estructures de regeneraci\u00f3 ambiental que permetin el creixement de la biodiversitat marina.\u00a0\r<br>Aquest biomaterial pret\u00e9n valoritzar els subproductes de la ind\u00fastria sider\u00fargica, com l\u2019esc\u00f2ria blanca, i de la ind\u00fastria agroaliment\u00e0ria, com les closques de bivalves (per exemple, els musclos o les ostres) i les closques d\u2019ou. Per tal d\u2019obtenir el nou material compost en la forma i dimensions necess\u00e0ries per promoure el creixement d\u2019ecosistemes marins, s\u2019utilitzaran t\u00e8cniques d\u2019impressi\u00f3 3D.\r<br>L\u2019objectiu del projecte SEASLAG s\u2019aconseguir\u00e0 mitjan\u00e7ant l\u2019assoliment dels seg\u00fcents objectius tecnol\u00f2gics espec\u00edfics:\r<br>\r<br>Definici\u00f3 i desenvolupament de la formulaci\u00f3 d\u2019un material biocompatible que serveixi com a substrat natural pel creixement de la biodiversitat marina i que incorpori els subproductes de la ind\u00fastria sider\u00fargica (esc\u00f2ria blanca), l\u2019aq\u00fcicultura (closques de bivalves) i l\u2019avicultura (closques d\u2019ou).\u00a0\r<br>Adaptaci\u00f3 de la formulaci\u00f3 del nou material compost biocompatible a la impressi\u00f3 3D com a m\u00e8tode de modelitzaci\u00f3 i fabricaci\u00f3 de les estructures de regeneraci\u00f3 marina basades en la tecnologia BioBoosting System (BBS) desenvolupada per l\u2019empresa Ocean Ecostructures, per millorar i optimitzar el reclutament i creixement de la biodiversitat marina.\u00a0\r<br>Validaci\u00f3 del nou material compost a partir dels diferents subproductes destinat a la construcci\u00f3 de les estructures BBS de bioregeneraci\u00f3, mitjan\u00e7ant la seva instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 i el monitoratge del creixement i l\u2019evoluci\u00f3 de la biodiversitat marina en dues ubicacions experimentals: el laboratori d\u2019observaci\u00f3 submarina (OBSEA) del SARTI de la UPC a la costa de Vilanova i la Geltr\u00fa, i el Port Marina Palam\u00f3s.\r<br>\r<br>En el marc del projecte SEASLAG, durant l\u2019estiu 2023 ha comen\u00e7at una prova pilot a la costa de Vilanova i la Geltr\u00fa, en concret a les instal\u00b7lacions de l\u2019observatori OBSEA del SARTI de la UPC, per garantir l\\&#8217;efici\u00e8ncia del nou material.\r<br>\u00a0\r<br><h4>Pressupost i finan\u00e7ament<\/h4>\r<br>El projecte compta amb el suport d\u2019ACCI\u00d3 &#8211; l\u2019ag\u00e8ncia per a la competitivitat de l\u2019empresa del Departament d\u2019Empresa i Treball de la Generalitat de Catalunya -, a trav\u00e9s de la l\u00ednia d\u2019ajuts Nuclis d\u2019R+D empresarial. Tamb\u00e9 hi participen l\u2019empresa Barna Steel (filial de <a target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.celsagroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CELSA group<\/a>) i el <a target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leitat.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centre Tecnol\u00f2gic Leitat<\/a>.
