Al llarg dels anys s\u2019han desenvolupat diverses solucions t\u00e8cniques que permeten tant la detecci\u00f3 com la prevenci\u00f3 de danys per incendi.\r<br>Els sistemes de protecci\u00f3 contra incendis estan equipats amb bateries que n\u2019asseguren el funcionament en cas de talls dels subministrament el\u00e8ctric. Habitualment es fan servir bateries de plom \u00e0cid supervisades per una font d\u2019alimentaci\u00f3 que les mant\u00e9 carregades. No obstant aix\u00f2, els carregadors tradicionals tenen limitacions en la seva capacitat per monitorar amb precisi\u00f3 els par\u00e0metres vitals de les bateries, fet que pot provocar patrons de c\u00e0rrega ineficients. Aix\u00f2 obliga a inspeccionar-les i substituir-les freq\u00fcentment per a evitar problemes de seguretat.\r<br>Mitjan\u00e7ant la integraci\u00f3 de tecnologies de l\\&#8217;Internet de les Coses (IoT), els carregadors de bateries poden fer servir la computaci\u00f3 en n\u00favol per estimar els par\u00e0metres de les bateries, optimitzar la c\u00e0rrega i fins i tot introduir noves funcionalitats com la predicci\u00f3 de l\\&#8217;envelliment. A m\u00e9s, aquesta integraci\u00f3 juga un paper crucial en la reducci\u00f3 de l\\&#8217;impacte ambiental associat a les bateries de plom \u00e0cid en els sistemes de detecci\u00f3 d\\&#8217;incendis, allargant-ne la vida \u00fatil de 5 a 10 anys.\r<br>Tot i que l\\&#8217;\u00fas de l\\&#8217;IoT en els sistemes de detecci\u00f3 d\\&#8217;incendis est\u00e0 en augment, encara hi ha una manca d\\&#8217;investigaci\u00f3 en el seu \u00fas per preveure fallades en el sistema. Per abordar aquesta manca, l\\&#8217;equip de recerca i desenvolupament de l\\&#8217;empresa Detnov Security SL, en col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb el Centre d\u2019Investigaci\u00f3 en Enginyeria Biom\u00e8dica (CREB) de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya &#8211; BarcelonaTech (UPC), treballa en un projecte per a aplicar millores en els sistemes de detecci\u00f3 d\\&#8217;incendis i desenvolupar t\u00e8cniques de recopilaci\u00f3 de dades centrades a predir el rendiment de les bateries.\u00a0\r<br>L\\&#8217;objectiu del projecte \u00e9s, doncs, millorar la gesti\u00f3, la fiabilitat i el manteniment preventiu de les bateries, aplicant t\u00e8cniques d\u2019IoT i data science a variables internes mesurades en aquests sistemes durant tot el seu cicle de vida, a fi d\u2019allargar-ne la vida \u00fatil i reduir el seu impacte ambiental.\r<br>En particular, es pret\u00e9n realitzar un estudi de totes les dades disponibles a la xarxa de sistemes de protecci\u00f3 contra incendis que no estan sent explotats, aix\u00ed com els m\u00e8todes adequats per a la seva recopilaci\u00f3 i transmissi\u00f3, per millorar les prestacions del sistema.\r<br>En aquest projecte es combinen coneixements del producte de detecci\u00f3 d\u2019incendis, coneixements dels principis f\u00edsics que governen l\u2019envelliment de components electr\u00f2nics i coneixements de gesti\u00f3, transmissi\u00f3 i processament de dades. En el marc del projecte, s\u2019espera recopilar informaci\u00f3 suficient per modelar l\u2019envelliment dels elements del sistema, anticipar-se a avaries i permetre la planificaci\u00f3 de manteniments preventius, evitant al m\u00e0xim les intervencions de manteniment correctiu.
