La seva aplicaci\u00f3, per\u00f2, no est\u00e0 exempta de problem\u00e0tiques associades a la generaci\u00f3 de micropl\u00e0stics, aix\u00ed com d\u2019un marc regulador cada vegada m\u00e9s restrictiu pel que fa a l\u2019\u00fas de materials t\u00f2xics i no biodegradables. En aquest context, per donar resposta a la necessitat d\u2019adaptaci\u00f3 r\u00e0pida als nous reptes plantejats pel sector en l\u2019\u00fas de microc\u00e0psules i implementar noves t\u00e8cniques i solucions per a fabricants i usuaris finals, sorgeix el projecte de recerca amb l\u2019empresa CARINSA, en el qual participa el grup de recerca Materials Polim\u00e8rics i Qu\u00edmica T\u00e8xtil (<a target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/eq.upc.edu\/ca\/recerca\/grups-sgr\/polquitex\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">POLQUITEX<\/a>), que forma part de l\u2019Institut d\\&#8217;Investigaci\u00f3 T\u00e8xtil i de Cooperaci\u00f3 Industrial de Terrassa (INTEXTER) de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya &#8211; BarcelonaTech (UPC). L\u2019objectiu \u00e9s trobar nous materials per al recobriment de microc\u00e0psules de frag\u00e0ncies per ser utilitzades en suavitzants t\u00e8xtils, i nous m\u00e8todes d\u2019encapsulaci\u00f3 m\u00e9s respectuosos amb el medi ambient.\r<br><h4>Resultats i impacte<\/h4>\r<br>Els m\u00e8todes d\u2019encapsulaci\u00f3 cl\u00e0ssics han emprat la polimeritzaci\u00f3 in situ per a la generaci\u00f3 de resines aminopl\u00e0stiques amb l\u2019alliberament de productes t\u00f2xics com el formaldehid. Les l\u00ednies de recerca actuals, per\u00f2, es troben enfocades en la formaci\u00f3 de resines lliures de formaldehid mitjan\u00e7ant la polimeritzaci\u00f3 in situ, la polimeritzaci\u00f3 interfacial (poliurea, poliuret\u00e0, poliamida), la coacervaci\u00f3 i processos h\u00edbrids dels anteriors. El projecte prioritzar\u00e0 la selecci\u00f3 de materials polim\u00e8rics sint\u00e8tics (PLA, PCL, PBS), i derivats de fonts renovables (mid\u00f3, cel\u00b7lulosa, quitosan) o mescles (mid\u00f3-PLA, mid\u00f3 PCL), sempre que permetin assolir els objectius establerts.\u00a0\r<br>L\u2019activitat de recerca permetr\u00e0 validar, que els materials que formen la paret de la microc\u00e0psula s\u00f3n preferentment biodegradables, que la selecci\u00f3 dels pol\u00edmers encapsulants i la metodologia d\u2019encapsulaci\u00f3 mostra un equilibri en la biodegradaci\u00f3 al final de l\u2019\u00fas, i que es compleix amb la normativa vigent sense comprometre l\u2019estabilitat de l\u2019ingredient integrat en el producte final, previ al seu \u00fas. Les noves microc\u00e0psules que es desenvoluparan en el marc del projecte, estaran preparades per ser estables en una formulaci\u00f3 de suavitzant t\u00e8xtil i garantir la fixaci\u00f3 de les microc\u00e0psules en el teixit durant el proc\u00e9s de rentat dom\u00e8stic.\r<br><h4>Pressupost i finan\u00e7ament<\/h4>\r<br>El projecte est\u00e0 dotat d\u2019un pressupost de 33.960 \u20ac, gr\u00e0cies a la concessi\u00f3 d\u2019un ajut per part de l\u2019Ag\u00e8ncia de Gesti\u00f3 d\\&#8217;Ajuts Universitaris i de Recerca (AGAUR), en el marc d\u2019un programa de subvenci\u00f3 de la Generalitat de Catalunya per a doctorats industrials.
