Aquest projecte busca optimitzar la gesti\u00f3 dels recursos agr\u00edcoles, especialment l\u2019aigua, i contribuir a una agricultura m\u00e9s sostenible mitjan\u00e7ant l\u2019\u00fas d\u2019eines tecnol\u00f2giques innovadores.<\/h4><br>Project Header<br>no-repeat;left top;;<br>auto<br>20px<br><br><br>RootBot combina tecnologies de rob\u00f2tica m\u00f2bil, navegaci\u00f3 aut\u00f2noma, radar de subsol (GPR), algoritmes d\u2019aprenentatge autom\u00e0tic i reconeixement de patrons per crear un robot capa\u00e7 de navegar aut\u00f2nomament en terrenys agr\u00edcoles. Durant el seu recorregut, el robot recull dades del subsol que permeten generar mapes detallats del sistema radicular dels cultius i de la distribuci\u00f3 de la humitat. El sistema es proposa com una eina per a l\u2019agricultura de precisi\u00f3, ja que permet disposar de dades concretes sobre l\\&#8217;extensi\u00f3 i el volum de les arrels i, especialment, la seva posici\u00f3 respecte a les zones humides del sol Els resultats es podran visualitzar com un mapa multicapa d\u2019arrels i humitat del s\u00f2l proporcionant als agricultors una eina eficient per a la presa de decisions.\u00a0<br><br>El desenvolupament de RootBot inclou proves de laboratori per avaluar la precisi\u00f3 de les tecnologies, calibrar els par\u00e0metres de les xarxes neuronals que permeten interpretar aut\u00f2nomament les dades del georradar i per adaptar-les a les situacions concretes dels conreus. Tamb\u00e9 inclou assajos en condicions reals a les instal\u00b7lacions de l\u2019Agr\u00f2polis de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya &#8211; BarcelonaTech (UPC). El fet de disposar d\u2019informaci\u00f3 acurada i renovada di\u00e0riament, permetr\u00e0 una precisi\u00f3 molt m\u00e9s gran en la presa de decisions sobre el cultiu i en l\u2019aplicaci\u00f3 del reg, amb el conseg\u00fcent estalvi de recursos. Pel fet de ser aut\u00f2nom, el sistema pot treballar mentre els usuaris es dediquen a altres tasques, augmentant aix\u00ed la seva productivitat. Aquest sistema rob\u00f2tic aut\u00f2nom permetr\u00e0:<br><br><br><br>Optimitzar el reg: els mapes d\u2019humitat permetran reduir el consum d\u2019aigua millorant l\u2019efici\u00e8ncia en l\u2019\u00fas dels recursos h\u00eddrics i econ\u00f2mics.<br><br>Millorar la sostenibilitat: la tecnologia facilita una gesti\u00f3 m\u00e9s precisa dels cultius, reduint la depend\u00e8ncia de m\u00e8todes invasius i l\u2019impacte ambiental.<br><br>Augmentar la digitalitzaci\u00f3 del sector agr\u00edcola: el projecte fomenta l\u2019adopci\u00f3 de tecnologies avan\u00e7ades, augmentant la competitivitat del sector i atraient talent jove.<br><br><br><br>RootBot t\u00e9 el potencial de transformar el sector agr\u00edcola, promovent pr\u00e0ctiques sostenibles, millorant l\u2019efici\u00e8ncia en l\u2019\u00fas de recursos i establint una base per a l\u2019adopci\u00f3 de tecnologies avan\u00e7ades en la gesti\u00f3 agr\u00edcola. Aquesta iniciativa posiciona l\u2019agricultura de precisi\u00f3 com una eina clau per fer front als desafiaments del canvi clim\u00e0tic i l\u2019escassetat de recursos.<br><br>El projecte est\u00e0 liderat pel <a target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/futur.upc.edu\/177709\" target=\"_blank\">Centre de Disseny d\\&#8217;Equips Industrials-Din\u00e0mica de M\u00e0quines (CDEI DM)<\/a> i el grup de Geof\u00edsica i Enginyeria S\u00edsmica (GiES) de la UPC, amb la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 de Verdcamp Fruits, Catalan Water Partnership (CWP), FEMAC, ADV Ecol\u00f2gica de Ponent, el Cl\u00faster INNOVI i el grup Ametller Origen.
