El projecte forma part d\\&#8217;un projecte m\u00e9s gran, MemTecWare, coordinat des de la UCM.<\/h4><br>Project Header<br>no-repeat;left top;;<br>auto<br>20px<br><br><br>En un escenari d\\&#8217;economia circular, les tecnologies de reciclatge, separaci\u00f3 i concentraci\u00f3 de l\\&#8217;aigua s\u00f3n temes clau tant en entorns municipals com industrials. De fet, les tecnologies avan\u00e7ades de separaci\u00f3 s\u00f3n processos clau en el nou Pla d\\&#8217;Acci\u00f3 per a l\\&#8217;Economia Circular (CEAP II), un dels pilars fonamentals del Pacte Verd Europeu, segons el qual les activitats relacionades amb el tractament d\\&#8217;aig\u00fces residuals (waste water treatment, WWT) han de buscar noves tecnologies que puguin recuperar tant l\\&#8217;aigua com els nutrients.<br><br>Paral\u00b7lelament, el pla europeu Sustainable Process Industry through Resource and Energy Efficiency (SPIRE), centrat en accions per evitar, valoritzar i reutilitzar els fluxos de residus per crear nous models de negoci i avan\u00e7ar cap a l\\&#8217;economia circular (zero waste), necessita cadenes de valor circulars i desenvolupar operacions de separaci\u00f3 i purificaci\u00f3 rendibles. En aquest sentit, les operacions de membrana s\u00f3n extremadament rellevants a causa de la seva alta efici\u00e8ncia i baix impacte ambiental; per\u00f2 \u00e9s essencial millorar les tecnologies i els materials de les membranes perqu\u00e8 siguin capa\u00e7os de recuperar aquests elements de valor afegit amb el grau de qualitat i concentraci\u00f3 requerit pel mercat.<br><br>En aquest context, el projecte MemTecWare aposta per solucions integrades i eficients que contribueixen a la minimitzaci\u00f3 del residu l\u00edquid (zero liquid discharge, ZLD), a la valoritzaci\u00f3 de corrents residuals i a la producci\u00f3 sostenible d\\&#8217;aigua i energia. El projecte proposa la combinaci\u00f3 de tecnologies avan\u00e7ades de separaci\u00f3 mitjan\u00e7ant membranes per al tractament d\\&#8217;aig\u00fces residuals amb alta salinitat i\/o contingut d\\&#8217;amon\u00edac: destil\u00b7laci\u00f3 per membrana (MD), destil\u00b7laci\u00f3 osm\u00f2tica per membrana (OMD), destil\u00b7laci\u00f3 per membrana al buit (VMD), cristal\u00b7litzaci\u00f3 per membrana (MCr), electrodi\u00e0lisi inversa (RED) i \u00f2smosi per pressi\u00f3 retardada (PRO).<br><br>MemTecWare, coordinat des de la Universitad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), es divideix en tres subprojectes:\u00a0<br><br><br><br>Subprojecte 1: MemTecWare-SOMEWATER &#8211; Desenvolupament de membranes auto-calentables (liderat per la Universitad Complutense de Madrid, UCM).\u00a0<br><br>Subprojecte 2: MemTecWare-PROFUSION &#8211; Implementaci\u00f3 i optimitzaci\u00f3 de processos PRO (liderat per la Universitad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, ULPGC).\u00a0<br><br>Subprojecte 3: MemTecWare-HARMONIZE &#8211; Millora dels processos OMD i VMD per a la recuperaci\u00f3 selectiva d\\&#8217;amon\u00edac i sals d\\&#8217;amoni (liderat per la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya &#8211; BarcelonaTech, UPC).<br><br><br><br>Concretament, el subprojecte HARMONIZE, l\\&#8217;objectiu principal del qual \u00e9s valoritzar l\\&#8217;amon\u00edac recuperat tant com a fertilitzant (p.ex., sals d\\&#8217;amoni) com a combustible lliure de CO\u2082 (NH3 (g)), permetr\u00e0:<br><br><br><br>Estudiar els efectes i optimitzar els par\u00e0metres operatius i els factors que afecten el flux d\\&#8217;amon\u00edac, la selectivitat i la qualitat del producte en configuracions OMD i VMD.<br><br>Explorar noves configuracions d\\&#8217;OMD i VMD i dissenys de m\u00f2duls optimitzats per reduir el flux d\\&#8217;aigua transmembrenes amb l\\&#8217;objectiu d\\&#8217;augmentar el flux d\\&#8217;amon\u00edac, la selectivitat i la concentraci\u00f3 del producte.<br><br>Estudiar i optimitzar el proc\u00e9s de cristal\u00b7litzaci\u00f3 per obtenir cristalls de sal d\\&#8217;amoni de millor qualitat per a la producci\u00f3 de fertilitzants.<br><br>Desenvolupar noves membranes OMD i VMD m\u00e9s selectives envers l\\&#8217;amon\u00edac.<br><br>Ampliar els models f\u00edsics existents i desenvolupar nous models basats en experiments per avaluar i optimitzar l\\&#8217;Opex (p.ex, consum d\\&#8217;energia i productes qu\u00edmics, embussament, etc.) i el Capex (p.ex., \u00e0rea de membrana) del proc\u00e9s OMD-MCr per al cas de la producci\u00f3 de sals d\\&#8217;amoni.<br><br><br><br><h4>Pressupost i finan\u00e7ament<\/h4><br><br>El projecte est\u00e0 finan\u00e7at per l\\&#8217;Ag\u00e8ncia Estatal d\\&#8217;Investigaci\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s del Pla Estatal d\\&#8217;Investigaci\u00f3 Cient\u00edfica, T\u00e8cnica i d\\&#8217;Innovaci\u00f3 2021-2023 (PID2022-138389OB-C33).
