A m\u00e9s, busca desenvolupar una eina de simulaci\u00f3, d\u2019acc\u00e9s lliure i gratu\u00eft, integrada en un entorn de modelitzaci\u00f3 bidimensional, que faciliti els estudis t\u00e8cnics necessaris per a la seva implementaci\u00f3.<\/h4><br>Project Header<br>no-repeat;left top;;<br>auto<br>20px<br><br><br>L\u2019expansi\u00f3 urbana ha alterat el cicle hidrol\u00f2gic natural, limitant la infiltraci\u00f3 de l\u2019aigua de pluja i l\u2019evapotranspiraci\u00f3. Com a conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, s\u2019ha produ\u00eft un augment de l\u2019escorrentia superficial, una menor rec\u00e0rrega dels aq\u00fc\u00edfers i un increment del risc d\u2019inundacions. Aquesta situaci\u00f3 es veu agreujada pel canvi clim\u00e0tic, que augmenta la freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia d\u2019episodis de pluges intenses, davant els quals els sistemes de drenatge urb\u00e0 tradicionals resulten insuficients.<br><br>En aquest context, els Sistemes Urbans de Drenatge Sostenible (SUDS) prenen rellev\u00e0ncia, ja que integren solucions basades en la natura i infraestructures permeables, com ara cobertes verdes, rases d\u2019infiltraci\u00f3 o paviments permeables. Aquests \u00faltims permeten que l\u2019aigua travessi la seva estructura porosa, tot imitant processos naturals de drenatge. Aix\u00f2 retarda el flux, facilita l\u2019emmagatzematge temporal de l\u2019aigua i permet laminar els hidr\u00f2grames d\u2019escorrentia, contribuint aix\u00ed a una gesti\u00f3 m\u00e9s eficient de l\u2019aigua en zones urbanes.<br><br>Els paviments permeables tamb\u00e9 milloren la qualitat de l\u2019aigua en afavorir la seva infiltraci\u00f3 cap a capes subterr\u00e0nies. En el projecte BITSDRAIN s\u2019estudien espec\u00edficament les mescles bituminoses poroses, encara poc utilitzades en entorns urbans, malgrat el seu \u00fas est\u00e8s en infraestructures vi\u00e0ries per millorar la seguretat en condicions de pluja. La seva incorporaci\u00f3 en zones urbanes extenses, com carrils bici o \u00e0rees per a vianants, permetria avan\u00e7ar cap a un model de drenatge m\u00e9s natural i resilient.<br><br>El projecte parteix de la hip\u00f2tesi que els paviments bituminosos porosos poden emmagatzemar aigua en el seu interior i transportar part del flux superficial, reduint-ne la velocitat i augmentant el temps de concentraci\u00f3. Aix\u00f2 ajudaria a mitigar els cabals punta durant les tempestes, reduir el risc d\u2019inundacions i alleugerir la c\u00e0rrega sobre les xarxes de sanejament.<br><br>BITSDRAIN preveu la realitzaci\u00f3 d\u2019assajos experimentals en un model f\u00edsic a escala de carrer. L\u2019eina de simulaci\u00f3 desenvolupada es validar\u00e0 posteriorment mitjan\u00e7ant un cas real, la qual cosa permetr\u00e0 modelar els processos d\u2019infiltraci\u00f3 i transport dins del paviment, i servir\u00e0 com a base per a futures recomanacions t\u00e8cniques.<br><br>L\u2019impacte del projecte ser\u00e0 doble: t\u00e8cnic i social. BITSDRAIN proporcionar\u00e0 una eina \u00fatil per quantificar l\u2019efecte de l\u2019aplicaci\u00f3 d\u2019asfalts porosos en zones urbanes i avaluar-ne la influ\u00e8ncia en la reducci\u00f3 del risc d\u2019inundaci\u00f3.
