L\u2019associaci\u00f3 premia les contribucions en els camps de la inform\u00e0tica com ara algoritmes, xarxes, arquitectura d\u2019ordinadors, rob\u00f2tica, sistemes distribu\u00efts, desenvolupament de programari, sistemes sense fil i tecnologia web, entre d\u2019altres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/futur.upc.edu\/AntonioMariaGonzalezColas\" target=\"_blank\">Antonio Gonz\u00e1lez<\/a> lidera el grup de recerca en\u00a0\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/arco.e.ac.upc.edu\/wiki\/index.php?title=Main_Page\" target=\"_blank\">ARCO (Architectures and Compilers)<\/a>, on ha centrat la seva activitat cient\u00edfica en l&#8217;\u00e0rea d&#8217;<strong>arquitectures robustes i\u00a0energ\u00e8ticament eficients<\/strong>\u00a0per a computadors de prop\u00f2sit general, processador gr\u00e0fics i sistemes per a la computaci\u00f3 cognitiva. Ha desenvolupat diferents projectes com <a target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cit.upc.edu\/ca\/portfolio-item\/cocounit\/\">CoCoUnit \u2013 processadors del futur per a sistemas de computaci\u00f3 intel\u00b7ligents<\/a>, entre altres. Ha rebut diferents premis com ara el premi UPC\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.upc.edu\/consellsocial\/ca\/els-premis\/PremiDuranFarell\/edicions-xxxx-a-xxxx\" target=\"_blank\">Duran Farrell 2008<\/a>\u00a0a la investigaci\u00f3 en tecnologia i el premi\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.icrea.cat\/ca\/icrea-academia\" target=\"_blank\">ICREA Academia<\/a> 2014 i 2019. Forma part de l\u2019<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Institut d&#8217;Enginyers El\u00e8ctrics i Electr\u00f2nics (IEEE)<\/a>\u00a0i de l\u2019ACM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019ACM ha distingit el 2020 a investigadors d\u2019universitats i centres de recerca d\u2019Austr\u00e0lia, \u00c0ustria, Canad\u00e0, Xina, Alemanya, Israel, Jap\u00f3, Pa\u00efsos Baixos, Corea del Sud, Espanya, Su\u00e8cia, Su\u00efssa, Taiwan, Regne Unit i Estats Units.
