Reindustrialisation, the circular economy, climate neutrality and digitalisation are the objectives of the new Law of Industry that has recently been presented by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism (MINCOTUR), which replaces the legislation that has been in force for over 30 years. The Industry 4.0 Congress, which will take place within the framework of Advanced Factories, will address the strategies and the steps to follow to address modernisation in industry.
Sustainability will again be one of the central topics of the Industry 4.0 Congress, which will analyse the importance of having low consumption equipment with less of an impact on the environment, but also equipment that enables more efficient production and has zero defects. Over 380 industrial experts in sectors such as the automobile industry, aeronautics, pharma, food, electronics, textiles or the rail sector will share successful cases, leading strategies and management models to promote competitiveness in industry.
Other topics are supply chain display through obtaining data in real time, and ‘virtual commissioning’, which consists of using virtual simulation technology such as digital twins to design, install or test machinery in the virtual environment. In addition, possible applications in the industrial metaverse and their compatibility or interaction with immersive solutions will be analysed. The congress will also examine the future, with new solutions and innovations that could have an impact on industry in the coming years, and post-quantum cryptography applications in Industry 4.0, among others.
