UPC will be at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2024
Knowledge and Technology from the UPC at the Eighth Edition of the IoT Solutions World Congress

Once again, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC), through the UPC Technology Center (CIT UPC), will participate in the Smart City Expo World Congress. This world congress on cities and smart urban solutions will take place from 5 to 7 November. It will bring together the world of urban innovation.
This year, the UPC will again have a stand at the Smart City Expo World Congress, where the latest projects developed by the university and the technological capacities and solutions in enabling technologies, energy and environment, mobility, governance and economy, living and inclusion, infrastructure and building and the blue economy.

- The UPC coordinates the BCNMob project, focused on the use of smart glasses with 5G technology and extended reality to increase the autonomy of visually impaired people. Biel Glasses and the Punt de Vista Foundation are also participating in the project.
