Els resultats i els diagn\u00f2stics es comparteixen en temps real en els vuit centres, constituint, aix\u00ed, la xarxa d\u2019anatomia patol\u00f2gica m\u00e9s gran d\u2019Europa. <\/h4><br\/>Project Header<br\/>no-repeat;left top;;<br\/>auto<br\/>20px<br\/><br\/><br\/><p><span>El <\/span><a target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/imatge.upc.edu\/web\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span>Grup de Processament d\u2019Imatge i V\u00eddeo (GPI)<\/span><\/a><span> de la Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya &#8211; BarcelonaTech (UPC), vinculat a l\\&#8217;<\/span><a target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/futur.upc.edu\/IDEAI-UPC\" target=\"_blank\"><span>Int<\/span><span>elligent Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Research Center (IDEAI-UPC)<\/span><\/a><span>, participa en el projecte DigiPatICS, coordinat per l\u2019<\/span><a target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ics.gencat.cat\/ca\/inici\" target=\"_blank\"><span>Institut Catal\u00e0 de la Salut (ICS)<\/span><\/a><span>, per millorar el diagn\u00f2stic del c\u00e0ncer als hospitals p\u00fablics de Catalunya. Ho fa mitjan\u00e7ant la digitalitzaci\u00f3 de les mostres histopatol\u00f2giques (\u00e9s a dir, mostres microsc\u00f2piques de teixits biol\u00f2gics) i la incorporaci\u00f3 d\u2019eines d\u2019IA que automatitzen l\u2019an\u00e0lisi per afinar el diagn\u00f2stic i fer-lo m\u00e9s fiable. Amb aquest sistema es poden analitzar m\u00e9s r\u00e0pidament un major nombre de mostres i els pacients poden rebre m\u00e9s d\u2019hora un diagn\u00f2stic m\u00e9s prec\u00eds.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><br\/><br\/><p><span>Anteriorment, les mostres de teixits s\u2019analitzaven a trav\u00e9s de microscopis, un proc\u00e9s que implicava que els pat\u00f2legs comptessin manualment un nombre petit de c\u00e8l\u00b7lules reactives a les anomenades tincions immunohistoqu\u00edmiques (conjunt de t\u00e8cniques que permeten detectar la pres\u00e8ncia de c\u00e0ncer). Des del 2022, quan es va comen\u00e7ar a implementar la primera fase del projecte, referent a la digitalitzaci\u00f3, els hospitals de l\u2019ICS disposen de 24 esc\u00e0ners d\u2019alta precisi\u00f3 connectats a 13 estacions per digitalitzar les mostres. Aix\u00f2 ha perm\u00e8s que el nombre de c\u00e8l\u00b7lules analitzat per mostra sigui molt superior i es puguin compartir, tant pel que fa a les imatges com els diagn\u00f2stics, en temps real i de forma segura, amb la resta d\u2019hospitals de la xarxa, creant una base de dades comuna de m\u00e9s de quatre milions d\u2019imatges digitalitzades.<\/span><\/p><br\/><br\/><p><span>A partir de les mostres digitalitzades, els algorismes d\u2019IA basats en aprenentatge profund (<\/span><span>deep learning<\/span><span>) detecten, quantifiquen i classifiquen autom\u00e0ticament les c\u00e8l\u00b7lules reactives a les tincions immunohistoqu\u00edmiques. Aix\u00f2 no nom\u00e9s agilitza el proc\u00e9s, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 millora la precisi\u00f3 estad\u00edstica i fa possible que els diagn\u00f2stics siguin reprodu\u00efbles, que \u00e9s un dels objectius de DigiPatICS. Nom\u00e9s un any despr\u00e9s d\u2019haver-se implementat els algorismes, el 2024, ja s\u2019havien analitzat 13.885 imatges, ajudant al tractament de m\u00e9s de 4.400 pacients.<\/span><\/p><br\/><br\/><p><span>Els resultats de l\u2019an\u00e0lisi feta pels algorismes s\u00f3n visibles pels m\u00e9s 170 pat\u00f2legs dels set hospitals de l\u2019ICS que disposen d\\&#8217;aquest servei: Hospital Universitari Arnau de Vilanova (Lleida), Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge (L\u2019Hospitalet de Llobregat), Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol (Badalona), Hospital Universitari de Girona Doctor Josep Trueta, Hospital Universitari Joan XXIII (Tarragona), Hospital Universitari Vall d\u2019Hebr\u00f3n (Barcelona) i Hospital de Tortosa Verge de la Cinta. Els diagn\u00f2stics i les imatges es comparteixen tamb\u00e9 amb l\u2019Hospital de Viladecans, que completa la xarxa de l\u2019Institut. Aix\u00f2 els permet estar connectats, supervisar els resultats conjuntament i oferir diagn\u00f2stics a dist\u00e0ncia, creant aix\u00ed una de les xarxes d\u2019anatomia patol\u00f2gica digital m\u00e9s gran del m\u00f3n.
