The UPC Technology Center (CIT UPC) will again collaborate in EXPOQUIMIA, the International Meeting of Chemistry, which will take place from 30 May to 2 June in the Gran Via venue of the Fira de Barcelona. The event will be held at the same time as Equiplast, the International Plastics and Rubber Event, and Eurosurfas, the International Surface Treatment Event, which coincides with the 15th Mediterranean Congress in Chemical Engineering.<\/h4>

This year, EXPOQUIMIA will bring together all chemistry sectors to highlight the strategic importance of the transformation of industry to more efficient production models with circular economy criteria. For four days, it will be a meeting point to demonstrate real, integrated solutions, innovations and successful cases in the main sector of application of the chemical industry. The main objectives for 2023 highlight the potential of all industry with a full offering of machinery, technology and services, in an edition focused on the needs of demand. Over 300 exhibitors will participate in Expoquimia and Equiplast and the event will be focused on three strategic areas to respond to challenges in the sector: the circular economy, digitalisation and technology transfer.\r
