5\/5\/2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third edition of the Open Innovation Forum (OIF) is now running. This programme enables companies to post their innovation challenges and obtain proposals for solutions from research groups and centres. The UPC participates in the Forum through the CIT UPC.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Open Innovation Forum is a continuous, open programme that is divided into six knowledge areas: Health and Life Sciences, Food, Chemistry, Energy and Resources, Industrial Systems and Mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Companies or agents that are interested in participating can post their challenges, with no limitations, and in a period of 6-8 weeks they will receive proposals for solutions. Subsequently, they can organise bilateral meetings with the centres that have proposed solutions. In 2020, two conferences are planned: one online on 15 July and another in November, with the date and format to be announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Programme registration provides access to the platform throughout the year and costs 250 euros for companies and 150 euros for challenge solvers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organisers of the Open Innovation Forum are CIT UPC, Biocat, the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation, UPF Ventures, the UAB Research Park, IDIBELL and ACCI\u00d3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2019 Edition of the Open Innovation Forum received around 80 challenges from 33 companies and over 100 solutions were registered. Over the year, close to 180 meetings were held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
