Se contribuye, pues, a mejorar la gesti\u00f3n de enfermedades y plagas reduciendo as\u00ed los costes de tratamiento derivados del uso de productos fitosanitarios. Al aplicar la dosis estrictamente necesaria en el momento adecuado, se incrementa la seguridad alimentaria del producto final con el consiguiente beneficio econ\u00f3mico y medioambiental.\r<br>En el marco del proyecto se ha desarrollado y aplicado una herramienta eficiente, manejable y sencilla para tratar las enfermedades f\u00fangicas y plagas en el vi\u00f1edo, que apoya al viticultor en la toma de decisiones de acuerdo a su estrategia de producci\u00f3n. Este sistema se ha basado en mapas de vigor y vegetaci\u00f3n (mapas que eval\u00faan la evoluci\u00f3n del cultivo) y en el uso de Dosavi\u00f1a (una aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil destinada a los productores vit\u00edcolas que calcula la cantidad \u00f3ptima de producto fitosanitario y el volumen adecuado a distribuir).\r<br>Los resultados obtenidos han conseguido reducir hasta un 40% el uso de fitosanitarios en cultivo convencional y ecol\u00f3gico. Tambi\u00e9n se ha conseguido la aplicaci\u00f3n con \u00e9xito de t\u00e9cnicas de viticultura de precisi\u00f3n y el uso de equipos de tratamiento de alta eficiencia. Adem\u00e1s, se ha reducido el coste y el tiempo operativo de esta actividad.\r<br>El consorcio, liderado por Miguel Torres S.A., ha contado con la participaci\u00f3n de 16 socios, entre universidades y bodegas catalanas as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n del resto del Estado.
