This session is on the latest advances in frontier materials applied to the health sector.

Frontier materials have the potential to transform sector and improve industrial processes, to enable disruptive changes in society. Their study, manufacture and implementation, we help us to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals for the Agenda 2030 of the United Nations.

The CIT Technology Center of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC) works to provide technology solutions to future challenges. At this conference, we present relevant projects that focus on the research, design and manufacture of frontier materials for the medicine and health area, with biocompatible materials that have bactericide or antiviral properties or smart materials for medical devices.
