El 5 de juny s’ha presentat l’Institut de Recerca i Innovació en Salut (IRIS) de la UPC, que dona continuïtat al Centre de Recerca en Enginyeria Biomèdica (CREB), i que té vocació d'esdevenir un dels centres clau a Catalunya en recerca i desenvolupament de tecnologies aplicades a la salut i les tecnologies mèdiques.
