The call to participate in the fourth edition of the Open Innovation Forum (OIF) is now open. This programme enables companies to post their innovation challenges and obtain proposals and solutions from research groups and centres.

The Open Innovation Forum is open all year and is divided into six knowledge areas: health and life sciences, food, chemistry, energy and resources, industrial systems and mobility. It is open to any company that needs innovation to develop new products and services or that is interested in developing new innovation opportunities; and university research groups, research centres and technology centres that are interested in applying their research to the Catalan production sector.

The date scheduled for the first online meeting is 14 July.

The last edition of the Open Innovation Forum, held in 2020, had around 52 challenges from 23 companies and more than 101 solvers registered. Over the year, around 134 meetings were held.

The organisers of the Open Innovation Forum in addition to CIT UPC are Biocat, Bosch i Gimpera Foundation, UAB Research Park and UPF Venture.
