On 1 and 2 December, the second meeting of the fourth edition of the Open Innovation Forum 2021 (OIF) will take place. This programme brings companies with technology challenges into contact with research groups in the BioRegion to provide solutions. UPC is one of the joint organisers through  CIT UPC.

OIF is an ongoing open programme organised into six areas of knowledge: health and life sciences, food, chemistry, energy and resources, industrial systems and mobility. The first meeting took place on 14 July and had 70 participants. A total of 30 meetings were held to resolve the 15 innovation challenges set by the companies.

OIF is organised by Biocat, CIT UPC, Bosch i Gimpera Foundation and UPF Ventures, the UAB Research Park.
