CIT UPC

The UPC organised a meeting with fifty companies at the ‘UPC Company Day 2023 Mobility 360’. In this session, held at the FPCAT-UPC Sustainable Mobility Campus, in Martorell, the university presented its potential for technological innovation and some successful cases stemming from collaboration with the business sector.

Business research and development projects are funded specifically for the creation or significant improvement of a production process, product or service. This programme is part of the continuous call for applications of the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI)

UPC has created a new online platform to increase the visibility of the University’s and scientific and technical infrastructure and services and make it easier for companies, government bodies and the scientific community to access them.

CIT UPC will participate in the first edition of meetechSpain, the event that aims to consolidate itself as a disruptive space in the Spanish innovation ecosystem and that will take place on 18 and 19 May, in the Hotel NH Collection Eurobuilding de Madrid.

CIT UPC will again be a Supporting Partner of Advanced Factories, the leading event in industrial automation and robotics in the south of Europe.

The UPC, through the UPC Technology Center (CIT UPC), is presenting its technological capabilities and avant-garde projects at MWC Barcelona 2023, which will be held from 27 February to 2 March. The technology will be displayed on a UPC stand in the Catalonia pavilion of the Gran Via venue of the Fira de Barcelona.

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC), through CIT UPC, will have a space in the stand of the Generalitat de Catalunya (located in the Congress Square, Catalonia pavilion, booth 4) at the MWC Barcelona 2023, which will be held from 27 February to 2 March 2023 at the Gran Via venue of the Fira de Barcelona. There, the University’s technological capabilities and its latest projects will be demonstrated.

CIT UPC has participated in the fifth edition of the Open Innovation Forum (OIF), a programme that puts into contact companies that propose technological challenges and research groups that offer solutions to them. A total of 14 companies and 31 problem-solvers participated in the 2022 edition. Over 50 meetings were held to try and resolve the 27 innovation challenges proposed by the companies.
