Once again, UPC has been present at MWC Barcelona, from 2 to 5 March. Through CIT UPC, its stand showcased its technological capabilities in areas such as artificial intelligence, 6G, data spaces, digital health, smart mobility and sustainability, as well as a selection of advanced projects and solutions, with prototypes and live demonstrations developed by the University’s research teams.

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech (UPC),through the UPC Technology Center (CIT UPC), took part for the first time in Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), held from 3 to 6 February at Fira de Barcelona (Gran Via). Over the four days of the event, the University’s stand—located in the Catalonia Pavilion (CS100, booth 8) from ACCIÓ (Government of Catalonia)—generated considerable interest among visitors, including companies, students, professionals and researchers, at a record-breaking edition of the show.

Once again, the UPC Technology Center, CIT UPC, will be showcasing UPC technology at Foro Transfiere 2026, which this year will take place from 24 to 26 February at the Málaga Trade Fair and Congress Centre (FYCMA). This event brings together professionals and experts from the R&D&I field to foster knowledge transfer and university-business collaboration.

Members of the European Projects Office of CIT UPC attended the HybridNeuro Neural Bridges Final Workshop, held from 9 to 12 December 2025 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor. CIT UPC took part in the event as a partner in the HybridNeuro and EU.FFICIENT European projects.

The 2025 edition of HealthTech2030, held on 16 October, 2025, at the Nau Bostik venue (Barcelona), brought together an exceptional community of innovators, researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs, and patients committed to shaping the future of health. Organised by Xartec Salut and led by the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health (IRIS) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech (UPC), this year’s event once again reaffirmed its role as a key meeting point within the health innovation ecosystem.
